Artist Statement
William L. Lupkin Designs Inc. is a world renowned stained glass studio based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Best known for their liturgical, commercial, and residential stained glass work. Owner and Head Designer, William Lupkin, has been consistently involved in the stained glass industry for over 40 years, having apprenticed under Joseph Uhrman of Mayer Stained Glass, Munich, Germany. He has designed and fabricated liturgical and commercial stained glass and mosaics nationwide as well as Manila, the Philippines, the island of Tahiti, and Sydney, Australia. Lupkin believes that there is a transcending nature to stained glass which allows common daylight to transmit and infuse excitement, reverence and adoration into the viewers soul.
